Free Prisoner Civil Rights Litigation Seminar at Roszkowski U.S. Courthouse

The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois invites you to attend a Prisoner Civil Rights Litigation seminar and Ethics training on June 29, 2018 from 10 a.m.—2:00 p.m. at the Roszkowski U.S. Courthouse in Rockford.

Chief Judge Rubén Castillo and U.S. Magistrate Judge Iain Johnston will offer opening remarks.

Jim Chapman of the Illinois Institute for Community Law will facilitate “Introduction to Prisoners Civil Rights Litigation,” 3.0 hours of Illinois MCLE credit including 0.5 hours of professionalism (application pending).  This course is sponsored by the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Immediately following the Prisoners Civil Rights Litigation seminar, the Illinois ARDC will offer an Ethics training, 1.0 hour of Illinois MCLE credit.

The seminars are free of charge.  A complimentary lunch will be offered during the training.
