Chief Judge James F. Holderman announced that  as of July 1, 2011 Judge Bruce W. Black has been selected by the judges of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois to serve as the next Chief Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois at the expiration of Chief Judge Carol A. Doyle’s term on June 30, 2011.
