Judge Doyle’s Court Calls Beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020 and Continuing Until Further Notice

Friday, March 13, 2020

For all of Judge Doyle’s Court Calls beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020 and continuing until further notice:

To minimize in-court appearances to the extent possible:

  1. Agreed continuances and orders: All parties are urged to agree to continuances or entry of agreed orders on all matters. Parties are encouraged to notify chambers of any such agreement at least one day in advance of any scheduled hearing.
  1. Parties should appear by telephone unless unfeasible:

All parties who seek a court hearing on any matter should, whenever possible, appear by telephone, not in person. In person appearances will be permitted only if telephone appearance is not feasible. Telephone appearances may be made through CourtCall as discussed on Judge Doyle’s web page. Parties should contact Judge Doyle’s chambers at least one day in advance of any hearing date to request an in-person hearing in the courthouse

Telephonic appearances may be arranged by calling (866) 582-6878 or visiting www.courtcall.com. All telephonic appearances must be arranged before 8:00 a.m. on the day of the hearing. After a telephonic appearance is arranged, CourtCall will provide written confirmation and a dial-in number. Parties appearing telephonically must dial-in at least ten minutes before the scheduled hearing.

Telephonic appearances are connected to the courtroom’s public address system and electronic recording equipment. Parties appearing telephonically are required to minimize background noise and to speak loudly, clearly, and directly into the phone. When a matter is called for hearing, all parties appearing telephonically must state their appearances.  Each time parties appearing telephonically speak, they should identify themselves for the record.
