Beginning Wednesday, October 15, 2025, all Draft Orders to Follow (DOTF) will be moved off the call to a 9:29 timeslot for the Chicago call and to a 9:59 timeslot for the Joliet call.  All DOTF matters that remain at those timeslots prior to each hearing will automatically be continued to the next court date.  If at any time, an agreed continued date (other than the next hearing date) is reached between the parties, please contact our chambers with that information and the matter will be continued to that date.   If a matter remains unresolved after 2 continuances, the matter will be moved back to the call for an explanation as to the delay.  All orders that are uploaded to the docket instead of sent to our Thorne Draft Order email (thorne_dotf@ilnb.uscourts.gov) and/or that do not follow our DOTF procedures (found on Judge Thorne’s webpage at https://www.ilnb.uscourts.gov/content/judge-deborah-l-thorne , will also be continued to the next hearing date.
