CHANGE TO JUDGE BAER’S GENEVA SCHEDULE (DUPAGE AND KANE COUNTY CASES)

Effective Friday, July 19, 2019, the schedule for matters in DuPage and Kane County cases heard by Judge Janet S. Baer at the Kane County Courthouse in Geneva, Illinois, will change as follows:

  • A new call for chapter 13 confirmation hearings will be added to the schedule at 10:30 a.m.
  • All matters and adversary proceedings in cases set for confirmation on the same day will be called together at 10:30 a.m.
  • All confirmation hearings (and matters and adversary proceedings in those cases) that were previously noticed for, set for, or continued to the old 10:00 a.m. time slot will be called at the new 10:30 a.m. time slot. No amended notice is required.
  • Set or continued matters in chapter 13 cases that are not set for confirmation on the same day will be called at 10:00 a.m.
  • There will be no changes to the chapter 7 call.

The new schedule for the Geneva call is as follows:

Chapter 13

Trustee’s Original (New) Motions 9:15 a.m.
Original (New) Motions 9:30 a.m.
Set or Continued Matters 10:00 a.m.
Adversary Proceedings
Confirmation Hearings (and all matters and adversary proceedings in those cases) 10:30 a.m.

Chapter 7

Original (New) Motions 11:00 a.m.
Set or Continued Matters
Adversary Proceedings
Involuntary Petitions
