2 New CM/ECF Events to document Transcript issue for Appeals pursuant to Bk Rule 8009(b)

Rule 8009(b), effective December 1, 2014, defines the responsibility of the Appellant and the Appellee to document whether a Transcript will be ordered, as part of the record for a Notice of Appeal. The appropriate event must be filed after you file the Appellant or Appellee Designation of Record and Statement of Issues.

Transcript Ordered Re: Notice of Appeal should be filed when you are ordering a Transcript, not currently on the docket. List the hearing date or dates, as needed. You must order the Transcript(s) from the Court Reporter and make satisfactory arrangements to pay the costs. File a copy of the Transcript Order as your PDF.

Certification of No Transcript Ordered should be filed when you are NOT ordering a Transcript.
Please create a PDF and title it to match the name of the event.
