Revised CM/ECF Events, Chapter 7 and 13 Statements Effective Monday, April 6, 2015

Friday, April 3, 2015

Effective Monday April 6, 2015 at approximately 8:00am, revised events for the Chapter 13 Statement of Current Monthly Income and Calculation of Commitment Period, Form 22C-1, and the Chapter 7 Statement of Your Monthly Income, Form 22A-1, will be available in CM/ECF.

The Chapter 13 Statement of Current Monthly Income and Calculation of Commitment Period, Form 22C-1, has been modified to allow the option of "unknown" for the Disposable Income and Commitment period screens.

The Chapter 7 Statement of Your Monthly Income, Form 22A-1, has been redesigned with additional screens and docket text. The screens now include questions about the various exemptions documented on the Statement of Exemption from Presumption of Abuse under 707(b) (2), Form 22A-1 Supp. The final docket text will now reflect whatever exemption applies; business debts or one of the military exemptions. When required, Form 22A-1Supp should be included with this event. You may file both documents as 1 PDF or file the 22 A-1 Supp as an attachment to the main document. Due to the numerous changes, we recommend that you test this event thoroughly before filing the event in LIVE.

If you need to file the Chapter 7 Means Test Calculation, Form 22A-2, please file it as a separate event. Due to the amount of coding in the Chapter 7 Statement,  combining it with the Chapter 7 Means Test Calculation may result in errors on the docket and/or notice.

Updated procedures have been posted and are now available for your review.
