General Orders Nos. 20-03 and 20-05 vacated

In accordance with the September 23 announcement that the court will resume in-court operations on November 7, 2022, the Sixth Amended General Order No. 20-03 (Court Proceedings during COVID-19 Public Emergency) and Second Amended General Order No. 20-05 (Trials and Evidentiary Hearings during Covid-19 Public Emergency) have been vacated, effective November 7.  See General Order No. 22-03.

The court has entered a new General Order No. 22-4, also effective November 7, 2022.  The new General Order permits each judge to require face masks in the courtroom and impose additional restrictions the judge concludes are necessary to ensure health and safety.  The new General Order also declares that by entering a courtroom in the bankruptcy court, a person certifies certain facts about the person’s health.  See General Order No. 22-04.
