RESUMPTION OF IN-COURT OPERATIONS
Beginning November 7, 2022, attorneys and other interested parties can choose to appear at motion calls either (a) in person in the courtroom or (b) by video using Zoom for Government. If counsel intends to appear virtually and speak during the matter, participation by video with a functioning camera turned on is required by the Court. Motions noticed for presentment on or after November 7 must use the Form G-3 Notice of Motion that is available on the Court’s website. This information applies to the Court’s Chicago and Joliet schedules only. A unique meeting ID and passcode will be provided for matters heard on non-regularly scheduled court days and times.
Beginning November 7, 2022, all trials and evidentiary hearings before Judge Hunt will be conducted in court. Parties may request to appear through Zoom for Government due to extenuating circumstances but moving counsel must file a timely motion. If remote testimony is allowed, a unique meeting ID and passcode will be provided.
COVID PROTOCOLS
General Order 22-04 applies to all court proceedings before Judge Hunt. Parties are expected to comply with all terms of the Order, including the Self-Certification requirement.
IMPORTANT: Face masks are OPTIONAL in Judge Hunt’s courtroom. Anyone wearing a mask may be asked to remove the mask while addressing the Court.
