Reaffirmation Agreement

Reaffirmation Agreements must be signed by the debtor(s).

 

If represented by counsel, debtor's attorney must sign certification that:

Reaffirmation Agreement Cover Sheet

 

The reaffirmation agreement and the cover sheet must be saved as a combined pdf file.  The order of the pdf file should be; (1) Cover Sheet (2) Reaffirmation Agreement.

 

 

Step-by-Step Procedures:


  1. Select [Bankruptcy>Other]
  1. Enter case number and click Next

 

  1. Select Reaffirmation Agreement from event pick list and click Next

 

  1. Select party you represent from party pick list and click Next

 

Note:  If the case is a joint case and the reaffirmation agreement only applies to one of the two debtors, select that debtor's name only.

 

The PDF Document selection screen will display.

 

  1. Click Browse button and navigate to locate the appropriate document/file

 

View file to verify the correct file is being selected

 

Click Open button and filename will appear in the browse window

  1. Click Next

  2. Enter creditor name

The following alert will display:

ALERT: If the Reaffirmation Agreement Cover Sheet was not added with the original pdf, please go back and add it before finishing this task.

  1. Click Next to continue if pdf file includes both documents

  2. Select No or Yes from the pick list to the following question

Is the Certification signed by the attorney for the debtor?

  1. Click Next

The Modify Text page will display.  Click down arrow to select a prefix if applicable.

 

  1. Click Next

 

The Final Text page will display.  This is your final opportunity to modify the entry before submitting the filing.

 

  1. Verify the accuracy of the docket text.  If not correct/if correct

 

  1. Click Next to complete filing process

 

 

The Notice of Electronic Filing will display.  It is the verification that the filing has been sent electronically to the court.

 

Copies of this notice and the document filed are emailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case.  You have a period of 15 days for a one time free look at the document filed.
