Declaration Re Electronic Filing for Documents Filed After the Petition

The Declaration must contain an original signature of the party, in black ink, and must be scanned into the system by the Registrant.

 

Pursuant to the Administrative Procedures for the Case Management/Electronic Case Filing System - "Except for petition filings covered by subparagraph II.C.1.a, if any document filed electronically, including those documents listed in Fed. R. Bankr. P. 1008, must be signed by a person other than the Registrant filing the document, a Declaration Regarding Electronic Filing signed by each person whose signature is required must accompany the document."

 

Step-by-Step Procedures:


  1. Select Bankruptcy>Other

  1. Enter Case Number and click Next

 

  1. Select Declaration Re: Electronic Filing for Documents Filed After Petition from event pick list and click Next

 

  1. Select the party whose signature is required from party pick list and click Next

 
  1. The PDF Document selection screen will display.

     

    Click Browse button and navigate to locate the appropriate document/file

 

 

  1. Click Open button and filename will appear in the Browse window

 

  1. Click Next

  1. The Miscellaneous screen will display. Select the appropriate event(s) to which your event relates.

    Click Next

  2. The Modify Text screen will display. If applicable, click the down arrow to select the proper prefix. Click Next

     

  3. The Final Text screen will display.  This is your final opportunity to modify the entry before submitting the filing.

     

  4. Verify the accuracy of the docket text. If not correct/if correct

 

  1. Click Next to complete filing process
