According to Rule 1017(f)(3), a chapter 12 or chapter 13 case shall be converted without court order when the debtor files a notice of conversion under ยงยง1208(a) or 1307(a).
This event can only be filed on a Chapter 12 or Chapter 13 case. If you attempt to file this event on any other chapter, the system will stop you from completing the filing.
This event should not be used to file a notice of conversion that applies to one of two debtors in a joint case. Refer to Notice of Conversion to Chapter 7 and Splitting of Case for further instructions.

Step-by-Step Procedures:
Select [Bankruptcy>Notices]
Enter case number and click Next
Select Notice of Conversion to Chapter 7 from event pick list and click Next
Select Debtor(s) from party pick list
Click Next
The PDF Document selection page will display.
Click Browse button and navigate to locate the appropriate document/file
View file to verify the correct file is being selected
Click Open button and filename will appear in the browse window
Click Next
The fee page will display indicating the filing fee due.
Click Next
The Modify Text page will display. Click down arrow to select a prefix if applicable.
Click Next
The Final Text page will display. This is your final opportunity to modify the entry before submitting the filing.
Verify the accuracy of the docket text. If not correct/if correct
Click Next to complete filing process

Select one of the two options and close the window when done.
The Notice of Electronic Filing will display. It is the verification that the filing has been sent electronically to the court.
Copies of this notice and the document filed are emailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case. You have a period of 15 days for a one time free look at the document filed.
