Background:
Effective October 15, 2012, there will be a new process for filing Pro Hac Vice applications. After registering in the Bankruptcy Court as a Pro Hac Vice applicant, completing a Training certification, and paying the applicable fee to the District Court, an attorney may file the application electronically in CM/ECF.

Local Rule 2090-3: |
Effective October 15, 2012, the court will enter a text only order granting the motion, as long as the fee is paid. A Proposed Order is NOT required.
Note: All federal government attorneys are exempt from paying this fee. |

Attorneys must complete the following before filing a Motion for Leave to Appear Pro Hac Vice via CM/ECF:

Select [Bankruptcy or Adversary > Motions/Applications]
Enter Case Number and Click Next
Verify you are docketing on the correct case
Select Pro Hac Vice from pick list
Click Next
Select Party from party pick list or Add/Create New Party and
Click Next
