Background:
Important Filing Instructions:
These instructions only apply to fee applications that are filed pursuant to special notice procedures on large Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 cases where a subsequent Notice of Hearing will be scheduled.
When an affidavit or Itemization are included, file as an attachment to the notice of motion and motion.
Do not use this event to file:
Effective October 15, 2012, Applications for Compensation should be included with the Chapter 7 Trustee Final Report - Asset.
Step-by-Step Procedures:
Select [Bankruptcy>Motions/Applications]
Enter case number and click Next
Select Compensation without Notice of Motion
Click Next
Answer the following question; (a selection is mandatory)
Is the application for Compensation for yourself? Enter y for Yes or n for No.

The following warning will display. Click Next IMPORTANT: Effective Monday, October 15, 2012, this event should no longer be used by Chapter 7 trustees filing a Trustee Final Report with Application for Compensation. Please back up and select Application for Compensation with Notice. This will insure that the application is listed on the calendar for the Judge.
The next page will display the following question: ALERT: Are you filing a Coversheet with this motion?
The PDF Document selection screen will display.
Next, the Proposed Order must be added as an attachment to the notice of motion and motion.
The following note will appear: NOTE: If filing Application for Compensation other than the first, enter which one is being filed (i.e. Second, Third, Fourth, etc).
The Fee Processing screen will display. Data entered on this screen is recorded in the Professional Fees Applied For/Awarded Reports. The Filer box will automatically be checked which indicates you are the filer of the application.

The Party/ Association Screen will appear
The Attorney/Party association screen may appear.

The Filer box will be automatically checked for the professional who is logged on. If a party was added to the party pick list, a Party box will appear under the type box because the party is not currently a party to the case.
If you check the Party box, the professional's name will appear in the party pick list permanently. If the box is not checked, the professional's name will not remain in the party pick list box.

The Modify Text Editing screen will display. Click the down arrow to select a prefix if applicable.
Click Next
The Final Text screen will display. This is your final opportunity to modify the entry before submitting the filing.
Verify the accuracy of the docket text
Click Next to complete filing process
The Notice of Electronic Filing will display. It is the verification that the filing has been sent electronically to the court.
Copies of this notice and the document filed are emailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case. You have a period of 15 days for a one time free look at the document filed.
