Notice of Appeal

You will be prompted to pay the required filing fee after your filing has been completed.

 

Step-by-Step Procedures:

  1. Select [Bankruptcy or Adversary> Appeal]

  2. Enter Case Number and click Next

  3. Select Notice of Appeal from event pick list and click Next

  4. Select party you represent from party pick list or Add/Create New Party

  5. Click Next

The Attorney/Party association screen may display.

  1. Click Next

A warning will display above the PDF Document selection screen : 
  1. Click Browse button and navigate to locate the appropriate document/file

View file to verify the correct file is being selected

Click Open button and filename will appear in the browse window

  1. Click Next

The next page requires you to relate your Notice of Appeal to an existing order.

  1. Click Refer to existing event(s) box

  1. Click Next

  2. The category page will display.

    Appellant Designation and Transmission of Appeal to District Court due dates will display. These dates are automatically calculated by the system

    Completion of the Filed and Documents fields is optional.   Completing of these fields will display specific entries on the next page.

  3. Click box next to the order being appealed

  1. Click Next

  1. Complete the text box with the name of court the order is being appeal to and Click Next

The filing fee is displayed on this page.  You will be prompted to pay at the end of the filing process.

  1. Click Next

A blank screen will appear.  

  1. Click Next

The Final Text screen will display.  This is your final opportunity to modify the entry before submitting the filing.

  1. Verify the accuracy of the docket text.  If not correct/if correct

  1. Click Next to complete filing process

 

Electronic Payment

You have two options:

Select one of the two options and close the window when done.


The Notice of Electronic Filing will display.  It is the verification that the filing has been sent electronically to the court.

Copies of this notice and the document filed are emailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case.  You have a period of 15 days for a one time free look at the document filed
