Step-by-Step Procedures:
Select [Bankruptcy or Adversary>Answer/Response]
Select Reference an Existing motion/application
Enter case number and click Next
Click down arrow
Select Brief and click Next
Select Party from party pick list or Add/create new party and click Next
The Attorney/Party Association screen may appear.
If attorney represents the party selected, click the box to create the association
If attorney does not represent the party selected, do not click the box
The PDF Document selection screen will display. You must now upload the document you are filing.
Click Browse button and navigate to locate appropriate document/file
View file to verify the correct file is being selected
Click Open button and filename will appear in the browse window
Click Next
Click box for Refer and existing event(s) and Click Next
The screen for selecting the related document category will display.
Click the category the related document was filed under
Note: Select Misc for documents filed in Other events category.
Note: Completion of the Filed and Documents fields is optional. Completing of these fields will display specific entries on the next page.
Click Next
A list of docket entries will display.
If the related entry appears, click the box in front of the entry.
If the related entry does not appear you may have selected the incorrect category or the related filing was not filed properly.
click the Back button to select the appropriate category or
click the Back button and highlight all categories. Highlighting all categories will cause all docket entries to display.
Click Next
The Modify Text screen will display. If applicable, you may make a selection from one or both of the prefix boxes.
Click Next
The Final Text screen will display. This is your final opportunity to modify the entry before submitting the filing.
Verify the accuracy of the docket text
Click Next to complete filing process
The Notice of Electronic Filing will display. It is the verification that the filing has been sent electronically to the court.
Copies of this notice and the document filed are emailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case. You have a period of 15 days for a one time free look at the document filed.
